AnswersTv.com, a website that answers user questions with informational videos, documents a diabetes patient and speaks with Dr. Vickie R. Driver about the risks and seriousness of Type 2 diabetes. In the interview an older women with diabetes, Mrs. Sondra Lipshutz, discusses her experience with an infected toe. Because of her diabetes she was unable to detect an infection in her toe and it eventually required partial amputation. This video would show a reporter just how serious this disease really is.

In this video Dr. Jacobo Zafrani, an expert laparoscopic gastric and general surgeon is discussing the surgery to cure type 2 diabetes in non-obese patients that he has pioneered. The surgery has been adapted from gastric bypass and has proved to be 90% effective in completely curing the disease. Dr. Jacobo Zafrani is located in Costa at Hospital Clinica Biblica. This web page is filled with different films produced by the World Diabetes Foundation. The films show the many problems people that are living in developing countries face everyday to deal with diabetes. Most people living in the western world can't even imagine not being able to treat their diabetes. These films document those in the rest of the world that can't afford or don't have the resources to deal with diabetes. This page would be useful for a journalist to view because is shows the pain and suffering that can ensue from living with diabetes and not being able to take care of it.
